On Saturday we had the opportunity to go and visit Anele at the rehab facility after his first month there, and he is looking so good! He was so excited to see us but had no idea that we had arrived with a big surprise for him.
In the last month, without Anele knowing, his sister Luyanda, moved down to Durban, and we took her and her son to go and visit their brother and uncle.Well, the surprise was wonderful to witness. Anele's face lit up with the biggest smile I have ever seen!
When the dust settled, we then got time to chat about how the last month has been. Well, inAnele's words,"It has not been easy, but I know that I am in the place that God wants me to be!" and that was all I wanted to hear.
Anele has now been off drugs for a full month. He is picking up weight nicely and looking so much healthier. He went on to explain that he was enjoying the routine of spending time in God's Word and prayer through each day! In Anele's words, "God is renewing his mind daily!"
I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to, and who is still contributing to, this life-changing experience, and I give all the praise and glory to Jesus Christ, who through the power of the Holy Spirit, is transforming a life!
